From Marlborough’s Brancott region in New Zealand, Forefathers Sauvignon Blanc comes from the historic Wax Eye Vineyard, planted in 1984 on loam and glacial gravel soils. Produced by Goldschmidt Vineyards, founded by New Zealand-born winemaker Nick Goldschmidt, the wine combines classic Marlborough freshness with added texture from time on its lees. Aromas of passionfruit, citrus, pear, and nectarine lead into a bright, refreshing palate with lively acidity, tropical fruit, subtle herbal notes, and a flinty mineral finish. Juicy yet beautifully balanced, it offers a polished expression of Sauvignon Blanc that shows both freshness and depth.
